We are a team of henna artists from different backgrounds, ethnicity and of various age groups. Our core strength is team work and diversity, and we strongly believe in encouraging, supporting and empowering one another in order to constantly develop a better version of ourselves everyday.
From a small team of 3, to 7, to 12, to 14, we are ever growing in order to meet the demands of our much treasured clientele every day!

Elly - Lead Henna Consultant & Founder of Henna Me Pretty!
March 2018 - Present
Elly started practising her passion for henna in 2012 where she joined Saheli Bridal in their annual Ramadhan bazaars, a well known bridal boutique in the Singapore Bridal Industry. For 3 years she has been a familiar face in the yearly bazaar @ Geylang Serai, building her network of getting to know other henna artists and also regular henna lovers who return year after year for her henna artwork. She has since branched out her own franchise #hennabylanora taking on private bridal henna appointments, henna parties, and corporate functions, and has also fundraised for Babes Org (NPO) by organising a booth jointly run by Babes and herself, where henna services are provided and 50% of the proceeds are donated to Babes to help unwed pregnant young mothers.

Elly specialises in cherry red henna, a popular type of henna which is mainly used in bridal henna across Malaysia. She is one of the first few henna artists in Singapore to bring in the trend, catering to brides' requests for cherry red henna. Elly's strengths lies in the speed and neatness of her work.

Elly is a mother of 2 boys, and for 7 years she was a single mother. She turned to henna for extra income so she can support herself and her family. She always believes in kindness begets kindness, and 80% of her engagements are from referrals from the brides and corporate clients she has served. In 2018 Elly formed Henna Me Pretty! so as to better serve the demands of our brides to be and prospective clients.
Irah - Lead Henna Consultant & 2IC
July 2018 - present
Henna Me Pretty! welcomes Irah on board in August 2018 - don't be fooled, Irah is extremely soft spoken but she has nerves of steel! Irah picked up and honed her henna skills during the Ramadan Bazaar in 2018 working alongside Alisa Parveen.
Practising fine lines, intricate details, Irah's love for henna started years ago when she first had henna drawn on her hand during a fair in primary school when she was very, very young, to date she remembers how vividly happy she was with the henna on her hands. Since then, Irah nurtured her love for henna and bought her own cones, applying henna for herself and her sister every year for Hari Raya.
Many are impressed with Irah's skills for her neatness, and henna grew to be her passion and an art she loves. Irah graduated in double majors in International Business and Hospitality & Tourism Management graduate and is currently working in the hospitality line, however Irah is definitely committed to her love for henna and will be working closely alongside Elly in managing the team, on top of executing her own bridal bookings, running fairs and events for Henna Me Pretty! SG.

Julie Emilia - Senior Henna Consultant

Julie is our second youngest member on board Henna Me Pretty! SG, a spunky, sassy 19 year old who sought about looking for part time jobs to help supplement her spending as she does not want to trouble her parents, she stumbled upon Elly's contact one day and mustered up the courage to ask for an opportunity!

What we really like about Julie is her sense of independence - Julie is extremely reliable, responsive and she loves to doodle as Julie studied Arts. Her doodles and henna artwork are different from the rest of the henna consultants in Henna Me Pretty; hers are more modern floral abstracts and has a totally different yet pretty effect!
​
Julie loves running, floorball, she also plays the piano, guitar and drums! Being an extremely talented all-rounder, feel free to request for any designs and be prepared to fall in love with your art piece done by Julie!

Julie is a full time student with NAFA and she caters to bridals in CBD and in the East, say Hi! if you see her!

Suhaiba Khan Surattee - Senior Henna Consultant

Meet Suhaiba, also known as Su, one of our most talented Henna Artists! Su is extremely meticulous, having approached the team for an opportunity, the team spotted her raw talent in henna. Together with guidance from Elly & Irah, Su has honed her skill to a level unattained by most henna artists in terms of neatness and precision henna application.
Su loves to read - all sorts of books, romance, fantasy, thriller, you name it, she's fan of any story. Su is also into crochet, which she does during her free time too, making scarfs and table cloths at home.
Su started her henna journey when she was 13. Having came across a very professional henna artist in little India, that triggered her interest in henna and she has never stopped practicing her skills since then.

She is also outgoing, reliable and has an extremely positive outlook in life. Positivity is the way to go as she believes good things will come to those who are positive.

Nurul Adillah - Senior Henna Consultant
February 2020 - Present
Meet Adillah - born and raised in sunny island Singapore! Her fascination with henna has influenced her to study the art and culture of henna through careful research and she is consistently keeping up with other renowned artists around the world on social media.
​
Her interest in henna started when she first got her henna done for Eid at the bazaar. Adillah was in awe of how these talented artists were able to create beautiful pieces in such a short time. Watching intricate bridal henna done at a cousin's henna night piqued her interest even further. At that moment, Adillah knew she wanted to be a professional henna artist.
​
Starting out as a self-taught artist working with traditional henna, Adillah continued to evolve through workshops, researches, and consistent practice to hone her skills. What was once thought of as something almost impossible, her strong passion for henna and support from loved ones was her driving force to start Hennadilz in 2019.
Adillah is also a proud to be a Senior Henna Consultant with Henna Me Pretty! SG.

Haya - Henna Consultant

Haya is the only child in her family, with 3 cheeky & loving cats that brings much joy & warmth to their life. Haya is currently in her final year studies in Nursing & hopes to pursue full-time staff nurse upon graduating in 2021.
​
Haya has always loved henna since young & enjoys getting her hands done for Eid. Intrigued by the detailings and beautiful creations, Haya decided to learn & practiced henna with the support from her loved ones. Haya consistently practiced on her free days & was always open to family members & other henna artiste’s feedbacks on improvements to better her skills.
​
Haya also loves makeup and all things beauty! Youtube videos started her spark in makeup and gotten her hands-on since 2014 when her parents gifted her first makeup product.She continuously keeps up with ongoing trends & learning tips and tricks , challenging herself out of comfort and consistently learning to brush up makeup skills.
​
Her dedication towards makeup and henna has brought her the courage, with her loved ones support, to start Beautyworksbyhaya in 2020. Haya subsequently joined Henna Me Pretty! SG to widen her experience in becoming a professional Henna Artist!

Marinah - Henna Consultant
July 2020 - Present
Marinah has always loved adorning her hands with henna since young. Her father is the one who will apply henna for her family.
Only in 2019 did Marinah discover her passion for henna and started practising often, supported by her family members and close friends. She is constantly learning and aims to continuously improve her skills.
Marinah also does freelance baking for any formal or informal events. Her passion for baking peaked when she was 13 and she hasn't stopped since. She's done them all from cupcakes to cookies to brownies to cakes.
Marinah has been baking and doing henna for a few years now and aims to go further in elevating her skills, with the support of her lovely family and friends.
Azariah - Henna Artist

"Meowwww! I'm Azariah, 97' kid with a great passion for art. You can call me Azzy in short."
Azzy started as a self-taught artist, learning on her own with practice, videos, researches etc. Eventually, she became an art student. Drawing was her love and that's how she got the inspiration to try henna. She started when she was around 12 years old and since then, she has been expanding her horizon in the henna industry. Initially, Azzy wasn't consistent in her journey of being a henna artist. She mostly did henna during her free time.
But now, taking a break, she has decided to pursue henna full-time. In all these years, with great consistency, Azzy has forged new relationships with fellow henna artists and exchanged knowledge about henna, learning skills along the way which also helps her to be better as a person.
Azzy loves engaging with her clients, having heart to heart conversations.
It's always her first priority to deliver her work with 100% utmost effort. Her goal is to always provide an excellent service experience and she's absolutely delighted when clients are happily in love with their henna!
Safreen - Henna Artist
August 2020 - Present
Safreen is one of the newest addition to our HMP team. With professional experience in the henna industry, she places the clients as her utmost priority.
She has had first-hand experience working with Syraskins, Alisa Parveen as well as other talented artists. Her passion and dedication towards henna have never failed to impress us!
